There are also distributions on the Korean Peninsula, the former Soviet Union, and Japan. The medicinal value is similar to ginseng.   National three level protection is endangered species. This plant has five palmshaped compound leaves, and the branches are densely prickly, hence the name Acanthopanax senticosus. Acanthopanax senticosus and ginseng belong to the Araliaceae family. The closeness of the plant's phylogenetic relationship also contains certain organic chemical components, so Acanthopanax senticosus is similar to ginseng and has high medicinal value. In some areas, the masses also harvested young shoots for consumption as wild vegetables, and the resources suffered a great deal of damage. In order to rationally develop this plant resource, it was designated as a national three level protected plant. Acanthopanax senticosus is distributed in the northern part of North China and most of the northeast, and   often grows under mountain forests or forest margins. As a medicinal resource, relevant departments should be organized to formulate a reasonable harvest plan,   and actively introduce and cultivate.
